Unforgiven is book 1 in the Red-Hot Riding Hood series by Ruth Clampett, and it's about a girl called Scarlett who lives in a small town. One day, she is called to the police station to open an obituary. She learns that her biological father was killed and his body has been stolen from the funeral home. The next day, more bad news comes when she learns that her mom is dead too, but she starts to find clues as to how they were killed.

Ruth Clampett was not a woman to take any crap from anybody, no matter how tough the guy looked. She wasn't afraid to steal from them either - sometimes she even made her living doing it. Ruth was also not a woman to be denied.

Unforgiven is a novel about a conflicted Vietnam War veteran who returns home to find that his wife has been unfaithful.

Unforgiven is a short story by Ruth Clampett. It was first published in the September 1939 edition of The Saturday Evening Post. Unforgiven tells the story of two outlaws who are looking for revenge after they are betrayed and captured by the law. A flashback shows how the two outlaws came to this point in their lives, with one of them being young and being promised that he would be allowed to live if he did not take a life. However, his family is killed and then he runs into his boss and shoots him dead right before his eyes, making him want revenge even more than revenge on the law.
