One day, she is called to the police station to open an obituary. She learns that her biological father was killed and his body has been stolen from the funeral home. The next day, more bad news comes when she learns that her mom is dead too, but she starts to find clues as to how they were killed.

Unforgiven tells the story of two outlaws who are looking for revenge after they are betrayed and captured by the law. A flashback shows how the two outlaws came to this point in their lives, with one of them being young and being promised that he would be allowed to live if he did not take a life. However, his family is killed and then he runs into his boss and shoots him dead right before his eyes, making him want revenge even more than revenge on the law.
