Trapped by Lies Audiobook Download by Ella Miles
Samantha and her husband have been living in a perfect world, where everything is fine. Her husband is rich, and she has a successful career in photography. But when new evidence comes to light about the past Samantha had always kept locked away, she becomes suspicious of her husband's motives and begins to dig into their history. It isn't long before she uncovers the truth - that the life they've been leading is nothing but lies.
A quick, easy and well-written read. The story is slow at first but picks up quickly as the author gets into the full swing of things.
After her husband’s disappearance, Simonne and her young daughter must move from their shared home to a small town in upstate NY. She takes a job as a waitress at the local diner, and quickly discovers that her boss is not what he seems, but she’s still not sure who to trust or if anyone in town can be trusted.
Convinced that her husband is having an affair, Kate sets out to prove it by recruiting the help of a private investigator. However, as events unfold and she begins to hear the story from all sides, Kate starts to question what's really going on and why the information she has been given will only lead down one path.
I started listening to this book on the plane heading home from a trip to visit family in Mexico. I had just finished reading the book, but I wanted to listen to it again before my plane landed. It only took me about 4 hours to fly home, and that was with some crying at the end of the book.
