Towers Falling Free Audiobook Download by Jewell Parker Rhodes

It is the day of a state-wide standardized test, and things are going well until tragedy strikes in a tragic accident with a fire drill. Zoey's life will never be the same again. She keeps running from her past, even though she knows it might one day catch up to her. It is then that she meets Gabe - he's just what she needs to help heal her broken soul. As their relationship grows deeper, Zoey starts to realize how much she has been holding herself back from happiness for fear of getting hurt or disappointing a family member again.

This was the first book narrated by Jewell Parker Rhodes and I found her voice to be so soothing that I fell asleep listening. She has a really great voice with a British accent. There were some moments when she went into overdrive as she was narrating but overall, it was really good.

In the beginning of Towers Falling, Jewell Parker Rhodes tells a story that sets the tone for the rest of the book. The story is set in her home state of North Carolina and is about her meeting a young boy named Darryl. Darryl was homeless, but he had his own dog, who he loved very much.

The protagonist, Harper, is a former Christian fundamentalist turned atheist. But she still loves to look at the world through rose-colored glasses. Even as the towers fall and chaos descends on Earth, Harper remains hopeful that the "Good Book" promised an end times scenario in which God will step in and save humanity. When this doesn't happen, Harper must reevaluate her belief system so she can find a way to survive the horrors of war and natural disasters.

In this new adventure, Jewell Parker Rhodes takes readers back to a small town in Vermont. For Harriet and her friends, a chance encounter in the woods with an escaped convict has them living on the edge of a war zone as government forces are evacuating the area.

The narrator for the audiobook, Jewell Parker Rhodes is a talented storyteller who manages to captivate listeners from the very beginning. She has an unmistakable voice that captures the reader's attention and makes them feel like they are living in the text. The entire story is narrated by her which allows for a more cohesive listening experience.
