I'm not a huge fan of audiobooks, but sometimes I get bored and want to listen to something. I came across this book while going through the most popular books on Audible. This book is about five women who live in New York City and they run a different type of BDSM club called The Young and The Submissive. It starts out with one woman figuring out she has been chosen by her Master's daughter to be his sub until she is able to find someone else.

Mr. Lapearl takes a step back to view the big picture in this high-octane erotic story about dominance and submission. The Young and the Submissive comes with a great narrator, too. Fox does a fantastic job at making this audiobook come alive with a deep, throaty voice that really sucks you into the story.

The Young and the Submissive is a steamy novel about a young woman who falls in love with a strong and dominant man who claims that submission is his life. As she begins to explore her sexuality and the world of BDSM, she finds herself slowly losing her mind.

The Young and the Submissive has been described as a story about two twisted people, Christian and Jenna, who find themselves by accident in an alternate universe where human beings are controlled by a bizarre and ancient cult. The story's main character is Shayla, an overworked Secretary who has to deal with the difficult sexual tension between her boss Mr. Christensen and the young man she loves, Jack.

Christian Fox's voice makes this a very believable story of the beginning of a domination/submission relationship. That said, it is dark and erotic, with violence and some BDSM content that is not easy to listen to if you have a weak stomach.

There's something so erotic about a man who knows and understands what he wants. He knows what he desires and needs and has the power to take it. And when I say "he", I mean Christian. He is tall, dark, handsome, intelligent, dominant and downright sexy as sin. If you enjoy books that feature the perfect blend of romance and BDSM, then this audiobook is for you!
