As a book reviewer, I am often asked to pick out my favourite romance novels. For this particular book review, I chose to listen to an audiobook instead of reading the paperback. The reason for this was that the narrator helped me connect with the main character and understand his feelings better. There was also a great amount of humour in the narration that made me laugh out loud more than once!

‘The Unwanted Assistant’ is a well-written romance with lots of heart and humor that I easily enjoyed. I loved the unlikely romance between two unlikely people, and the heroine, Lexi, was such a refreshing change from some of the other heroines I’ve read lately.
