The Twisted Ones is the second installment of the "Demon" series written by Kira Breed-Wrisley. It's an awesome thriller with a bit of romance, secrets, and suspense that will keep you wanting more. The audiobook is read by Suzanne Elise Freeman and she does a fantastic job. I couldn't imagine anyone else performing this audio book as well as her!

The Twisted Ones is a YA fantasy novel that has a surprising twist. It would be easy to describe this book as lighthearted and comical--and there are some comedic moments--but it takes an unexpected turn into the dark side of teenage angst, bullying, and sexual abuse. The main character (she didn't ask for any of this) is Anna, who starts out looking for her best friend, who was kidnapped just days before their high school graduation party.

[Scott Cawthon] has a very unique writing style. It's strange and it's freaky. I found myself listening to this audiobook in the dark, with my eyes closed, and could not stop laughing.
