The Scribbly Man Free Audiobook Download by Terry Goodkind

The book was an interesting concept, but the narrator is not the best. He has a voice that borders on annoyingly nasal, and his performance is nowhere near as good as the author's.

The Scribbly Man by Terry Goodkind is a fantasy series, the first book of which was published in 1993. The main character, Richard Cypher, is a 14-year-old boy who lives with his family in a small town near the edge of civilization. Due to an incident that occurs when he's just 10 years old, Richard has been given the power to draw on any surface and create whatever he imagines. However, this power comes with a great cost- he must put his creations through the trials that are necessary so that they may come to life.

This is the first book in Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series. It takes place in a medieval-fantasy world called Midkemia. The protagonist, Richard Cypher, discovers that he is a wizard and has been chosen to be the one to defeat the Dark One.

As a new student at Shunkah Hill School of Wizardry, with no powers, it's your job to find out who killed the previous Scribbly Man and why. The Scribbly Man is a short story originally published by Terry Goodkind in 1985. It tells the story of a female protagonist's meeting with a man who has no written language. After witnessing his fearsome appearance, she retreats to her car where she finds a notebook on the passenger seat. As she reads it, she realizes that he can only draw and write with charcoal. The scribbly man's drawings depict bizarre creatures which seem to be threatening the protagonist and her loved ones.

John Skelley gives an excellent performance as the Scribbly Man. It's interesting to see how the character changes throughout the story.
