The Losers Club Free Audiobook Download by Andrew Clements

In the 75th anniversary edition of The Losers Club, Andrew Clements added an afterword in which he revealed that the original audiobook was narrated by Christopher Gebauer, who has since passed away. Gebauer is well-known for his children's audio books, including The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Great Expectations.

This audiobook is perfect for reading over a long summer vacation. The Losers Club has a special place in my heart because I read it when I was thirteen. This book is still one of my favorites!

After a terrible fire destroys his house, thirteen-year-old Ben, who has been on his own since he was six, moves in with his parents' friend's family. On the first day of school, the bullies from Ben's old school make fun of him. But after hearing all the stories of how they were bullied when they were younger, Ben realizes that he should be nicer to people and that no one deserves to be picked on.

The Losers Club is an interesting book about a group of kids in a small town who decided to become friends and try to change their futures by standing up against the bullies. They decide that the only way they can do this is by staying together, and take on the school bully together. The kids stand up for each other and refuse to let others speak badly about them in class or make them feel bad about themselves. One of the most important parts of this book is that all of these things were done for themselves. They are not doing it to impress anyone else because all of them want different things in life, but they still stick together because friendship bonds people together.

It tells the story of six children who are trying to figure out their lives after one of them, Ben Hanscom, discovers that he has a strange affliction that makes him transform into a leper-like creature at night. They call themselves the Losers Club and they spend their nights roaming around on adventures that keep people away from them.
