The book is a beautifully written story of love and forgiveness. It follows the main character, Meg Mahoney, her husband Josh, and their daughter Julia as they navigate through a difficult time in their lives. Meg has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and the whole family must go through many challenges before finding resolution.

Therese Plummer has narrated many audiobooks, which she did a great job on. The Life She Wants is no different. Her voice is soft and reassuring, making it easy to enjoy her narration.
