I'd finally cracked the spine and thumbed through the pages to see what it was about when I came across a passage that caught my attention. Early in the book, the author introduces us to "Lenny," a young boy who doesn't quite fit in with the kids at school because of his weird eating habits and constant hunger. When Lenny starts new school and meets some new friends, he immediately develops an interest in running for president one day because he thinks everyone should have the opportunity.
