The Dream Thieves: Book 2 of the Raven Cycle Free Audiobook Download by Maggie Stiefvater

The Dream Thieves is a gripping, heart-pounding follow up to the New York Times bestseller Raven Boys. Picking up right where the first book left off, Emma, Gansey and Ronan are off on a new adventure in search of the lost Welsh king - but they must be careful not to wake the crotchety old man with his flame-haired daughter by their side. The stakes get higher as they dig deeper into their investigation into Glendower's life and death. Now it's up to them to break an immortal law: don’t let anyone catch you sleeping.

In this sequel, the Raven Society has been fighting for their lives for years and now it's time for them to bring in reinforcements. But not just any reinforcements. They need some of the best there is, and they seek them out at a famous resort called Elysium. It's full of celebrities, rock stars, and artists that are so powerful they can control dreams to make them real. The only catch? They have to be tough enough to withstand an attack from Lucien Ravenwood himself.

In the second book of the Raven Cycle, things are not getting better for Gansey. In fact, they are only getting worse. As they search for Blue's father, they confront a new entity that has taken over the world of dreams, and as much as it is a challenge to them, it's also a great deal of fun.

Though the story was a little different than I expected, it still left me with that feeling of "restless" that only really good books can give you. I am so excited to listen to more of this series and will probably re-read the first book again before listening to the next.

In this book, Emma and Ransom are separated, with Emma in Boston trying to track down her parents while Ransom struggles to survive the harsh and unforgiving landscape of Montana.

The Dream Thieves: Book 2 of the Raven Cycle is the second installment in Maggie Stiefvater's complex series following the lives and adventures of a group of teens named Blue and Gansey who find themselves on a journey to save their sleeping friend from being kidnapped by an evil spirit.
