The Bride Free Audiobook Download by Julie Garwood

When she was just sixteen years old, Rosalyn Landor set out on her own. She moved to a small town in North Dakota and lived the life of a farm wife, raising her two children and running their ranch. It wasn't until many years later that Rosalyn found herself back in the high stakes world of intrigue as a private investigator with no memory of who she was or why she had been left with nothing but a gold locket around her neck.

The Bride by Julie Garwood is the story of one of the most iconic and enigmatic female characters in Western literature. It recounts the tale of a beautiful woman who refuses to marry for love even though her family, friends and society force her into the obligation. The Bride is initially portrayed as stubborn, unfeeling and cold-hearted. She maintains this persona throughout all of the trials she faces until she is forced to confront her feelings when her father begins to show signs of dementia and no longer recognizes her.

The Bride has been on my "to-read" list for quite a while, but when I finally did get around to listening, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not often that a narrator will win you over in such a short amount of time, but that's exactly what happened with Rosalyn Landor. She did an amazing job and made it easy for me to hear the story unfold. Not to mention the sound effects were great!

Alyssa's life is turned upside down when she finds herself married to the wrong man at the wrong time. Forgiving her husband for his past and giving him a chance of a new life, he leads her on a wild adventure that tests her beliefs, love, and faith in God as well as herself.

The Bride is an intriguing book, though not without its flaws. The story is mostly told through the eyes of Michael O'Connor as he recounts his time spent with the beautiful bride before she became Mrs. Trinity O'Connor - he's a private investigator hired by her husband to try and figure out what happened to her one fateful night in New Orleans. It's a haunting story about love and loyalty, but also about how we are only human and can't always protect who we care about from themselves.

The Bride is a captivating novel of two women who were once engaged to other men in different countries but ended up finding each other. It is the story of their love, pain, heartbreak and ultimately their redemption. In addition, the author Julie Garwood has written some of the most loved historical romance novels.
