When I was a six-year-old, our English language pack included some short stories and the teacher told us at the beginning of class we were going to listen to one. I don't recall what story she read, but it was about a girl who had to spend the summer with her family's Alpha Wolf for a month or so. When she finally gets back home, her mom has traded her in for another daughter because she just didn't have time for me anymore.

I love this book and the audio. The narrator is a joy to listen to and Tatiana Sokolov does an amazing job narrating the book. I found myself getting lost in the words, which is something that I don't often experience with audiobooks because I am so impatient when it comes to having a good story read to me.

Charlene Hartnady, a P.I., is handed the case of Trenton Daniels, a 15-year-old boy who has disappeared after being given three days to repay a debt he incurred with his older brother, Ian. The money was borrowed from their parents for their failed business venture, and after the bank took it back, Ian expected that Trenton would pay up in time. But when Trenton doesn't return home, Charlene gets involved and soon finds herself in the middle of something she never expected...

The main character, Lark, is a struggling lawyer who has vowed to never be vulnerable again. When her car breaks down in the middle of nowhere, she encounters a hunky stranger that rescues her and offers her a job as his assistant. The story follows Lark as she gets tangled up with this Alpha Wolf (you'll know if you have read it) and falls for him. There are so many twists that the reader will not predict where it goes and the ending will leave you breathless!

The story is about a young girl named Lettie who is kidnapped in the dead of night by her father's best friend, Eric. Centered around animal attacks and territorial competition, this thriller picks up at the point that Lettie has escaped and begins to unravel what happened.
