Slightly Married Free Audiobook Download by Mary Balogh
It was a perfect day for a picnic by the river, with champagne and strawberries in hand as the sun slowly set. The romantic setting quickly turned into scandalous when Jack Cavendish walked up to declare that he had fallen madly in love with her two years ago.
Mary Balogh wrote novels as a young girl and then never stopped. After being rejected by her first publisher, she went on to publish over 50 novels, 30 of which have been made into films! She was awarded the OBE in 1976 and is the Queen of Regency Romance.
Rosalyn Landor is one of my favorite narrators. She has a voice that is so soothing and calming and makes you feel like she's a best friend who knows everything about your life. I enjoyed listening to the audiobook of Slightly Married while walking around the city.
Different couples have different trials and tribulations. For the Mitford family, theirs is a tale of love, adventure, and heartbreak. Their story begins on the day they arrive in North Carolina from England with much to learn. The most important lesson they learn is that marriage is difficult and unpredictable.
Mary Balogh's newest book, Slightly Married, is a delightful novel about a young woman who begins her life anew after an unfortunate accident. In the process of making amends for this tragic event, she finds her husband's diary and becomes determined to change his mind about their marriage. She believes that she can turn him into a man that is more in love with her than his own wife and children, which leads to some highly entertaining scenes.
