This is a memoir of Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works and the man who led it, Leo Janos Ben R. Rich. Written in 1973, the book captures an era that has since been filled with technology and opportunities for mankind.

With the help of a little bit of luck and just a few minutes on the phone, Leo Janos Ben Rich was able to get his dream job. In his book, he describes the things that were done to get Skunk Works back to where it is now and how he worked so hard to make sure the team was recognized for all of their hard work.

Skunk Works: A Memoir of My Years at Lockheed was a great read. This personal memoir telling the story of Leo J. Ben R. Rich's life during WWII and beyond is a must-read for anyone interested in military aviation, history, or business. I found Pete Larkin to be an excellent narrator with a perfect voice for this story.

This audiobook was the perfect read for me. I enjoyed how it gave a detailed account of the Skunk Works project, and how it's been a successful one. It made me feel as though I was listening to one of their engineers describe the whole process from start to finish. It also goes into detail about how important secrecy is, so much so that a person's life could be in danger if he/she talks about anything related to this project. The author does a wonderful job at painting a picture for the reader, making them feel as though they're there with him during his time with Lockheed Martin.

Skunk Works is a book about how Leo Janos Ben R. Rich, a Jewish engineer who immigrated to the United States from Hungary in 1939 and became friends with Lockheed's Robert L. "Kelly" Johnson, created one of the first prototypes of the U-2 spy plane during the Cold War.

Skunk Works: A Personal Memoir of My Years of Lockheed is a memoir written by Ben Rich, the leader of the Skunk Works at Lockheed's during World War II. This audiobook is written in a conversational style that is easy to listen to, and it follows Rich from his childhood in Davenport, Iowa all the way up to his death in 1983.
