Cj Bloom has a rich, soothing voice and provides a delightful narration of this interesting dystopian novel that keeps you engaged from start to finish. This book is perfect for listening to while studying or reading while cleaning or folding laundry. As a parent herself, this audiobook was probably made just for me and my husband because it is great to listen to together as we travel around town.

This is a dark, yet beautifully written and narrated audiobook that is sure to have you hooked immediately. There are secrets that are slowly revealed as the story unfolds. I can't say more without giving away spoilers, but this is a must read!

"Sunken in the shadows" is a heart-wrenching and suspenseful read about murder, love, guilt and forgiveness. It's not a book I can recommend for younger readers but it's perfect for those that enjoy thrillers. Muses from all walks of life are introduced in this story including an elderly woman living on her own, a troubled mother trying to make her way as a singer and an undercover cop. Cj Bloom narrates "Sinking in the Shadows" with such intensity that you know instantly what's happening even if you didn't know anything about the book before reading it.This is one of my favorite audiobooks so far because of how well the narrator tells this story.
