In this episode, the Baudelaire children are trying to escape an icy tower. They have to climb down a slippery slope and throw a rope over a bush so they can climb up to the top where they will find an elevator that will take them out of the tower. This is difficult because their hands are too slippery to hold anything, but they do it anyway.

After the children make it through a maze, they stumble upon a slimy ladder. The children are climbing when they hear a growling noise.

But Violet, Klaus and Sunny soon find that their new house is far from what they expected. This audiobook is read by Tim Curry, who does a great job voicing Lemony Snicket's character. The voices of the children are sung by Stephin Merritt, who also does an excellent job!
A series of unfortunate events begins when Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire are separated from their parents. The three find themselves at their Aunt Josephine's house in an unfamiliar city, where they meet a man named Edgar who claims to be the children's uncle.
The Slippery Slope is the eleventh book in Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunate Events. It follows Violet, Klaus, and Sunny Baudelaire on their quest to find out what's causing their parents to die one by one. The three are separated after discovering a secret entrance between the library and a safe room in the Baudelaire mansion. The children learn that they're actually in an attempt to capture them by none other than Count Olaf who they've been attempting to avoid since they arrived. After hiding in the library again, Violet manages to get them back together and head out for a cliff-top houseboat owned by Carmelita Spats that belongs to her father Stan from which they plan to escape.
The 10th book in the series and the second to be narrated by Tim Curry and Stephin Merritt, The Slippery Slope begins with the Baudelaire orphans living at a luxurious hotel in an unnamed European country. They enjoy their stay until one morning Violet learns of two gentlemen who had been there before them. They mentioned that they wanted to search for something that had been stolen from them as part of a scheme concocted by Count Olaf, but when they didn't come back, the Baudelaires knew something bad had happened to them.
