I was drawn to this book because it looked like the perfect blend of sweetness and deep dark. What I didn't realize was how intense this story would be and how addicting it would be to read. The main character is a young woman who has just lost her mother and been forced out of her home due to something she knows nothing about. What follows is a series of events that not only take place in the real world but also in the world of her imagination as she struggles to cope with all the loss in her life.

This audiobook is available for under $10 and I highly recommend it, especially if you're looking for that new guilty pleasure!

I was given a copy of this book to review from the author, Shayla Black. I have read a lot of books lately and not even my husband is sure anymore if I'm dead or alive. When he asked me what I was reading, I told him that it sounded good and that maybe he should read it too. He agreed and after finishing two chapters in one night, he asked what it was called because the cover looked familiar. He said that he had seen those covers before on other audiobooks on his Itunes account!
