The narrator has a great voice, one that really puts you in the story. He also does a fantastic job of using different voices for each character. I would recommend this book to people who are looking for an action-packed read with plenty of suspense.

I actually binged on this book in a day, because it was just so good and I couldn't put it down. Ruthless is the first book in a series called the Scandalous Scions. The story follows Vanessa Vale as she is being blackmailed by her husband's mistress and falls in love with Eric Carlson, who is not as perfect as people think he is.
