Resurrection tells the tale of a father and son, who become entwined in a combat to save the world from extinction. The father is born with necromantic abilities that protect him from the undead hordes and help him save his family. The son follows a young woman into an RPG universe where he'll fight for both his future and hers.

When Alex's body washes ashore on the southern coast of Lake Michigan, he has no memories and only a few clues to figure out what happened. He soon realizes that he has been dead for five years and quickly discovers the mysteries of his resurrected life.

Our protagonist, a thief named Stone, is in the middle of a routine heist when suddenly things go awry. He wakes up in an unfamiliar location with only one memory from before his abduction: his name - Stone. With no recollection of anything else, he sets off on a quest to get back home and find out who he is. In the meantime, he has to survive in this strange world where magic reigns supreme and all around him people are fighting for dominance. Stone meets some interesting folks along the way and even makes a few friends who help him learn the ropes. There's plenty of action, magic-filled battles and other adventures waiting for our 'hero'.

This is a LitRPG novel that keeps the action going constantly. Resurrection has a rich story with well-developed characters. The narrator does a good job of voicing all the different characters in the book and really adds to the experience.

Through a series of occult and mystical events, Samantha finds herself reborn as a young boy named Kevin. She must now learn to survive in this new world.
