The characters have grown so much from the first chapter that it would be hard to imagine what life would be like if they weren't there. This time around, we follow Boone and his sister Liza as they make their way to Saint Mary's Academy where they hope to find more answers about the strange death of their mother and the continuosly expanding world of fairies, witches, and vampires. In this installment, the reader will also meet a new character who is both a teenage boy and a fairy named Jonas--a mysterious individual who has many secrets.
