The audiobook is a great addition to the story. The story follows Andy, who's an engineer living in Houston, Texas. His job allows him the freedom to pursue anything he can imagine that could help him escape Earth when a global catastrophe destroys civilization as we know it. When he lands on Mars, his first goal is to find a way back to Earth and even though his plan seems doomed from the start, he doesn't give up hope and sticks with it to end all of humanity's problems.

The narrator's voice is the perfect balance of humor and seriousness. His performance brings to life all the characters in the story and their quirks, weaknesses, and strengths.
