The voice of Violet is so strong in her head that Caeli's life was constantly plagued with negative thoughts, fears and worries. Finding out what happened to Violet and being able to help put an end to whatever bad thing was happening to her friend is one of the things that keeps Caeli going throughout On Point and makes it such a compelling read.

'On Point' is a story about a girl who is so uptight that it doesn't cross her mind to have sex until her senior year. Then she meets a guy and the two become friends, but he doesn't want anything more. The girl has been conditioned since she was little to be on top of everything, including 'the game,' which means never showing vulnerability. She starts to fight with herself about what she really wants in life; the answers are not what she expects.

On Point was a gripping novel and narrated by J. F. Harding was wonderful. The narration was absolutely perfect for the story, especially with all of the twists and turns this book took. It is definitely one of those books that you can't put down and end up listening to in one sitting because it keeps you on your toes from beginning to end.

They decide to use what's left of their ammo to create a wall of fire around the base to keep ISIS at bay. The next day, the enemy attacks again but this time with tanks. Theo's unit is saved and he is able to call for reinforcements before he gets captured by ISIS.

On Point is a story about the love of a life-time. It's a story that shows how important connections are, and how they can be made with the right person. The author, Annabeth Albert, has crafted a beautiful short novel that is filled with humour and emotion.
