Nothing Special is a novella that I started listening to on my commute to work. The narrator, Aiden Snow, is able to read the text of the book with such vivid emotion and emotion-filled voice that I was immediately drawn into the story. The pacing at which this audio is read really helps engage the listener and keep them interested in what's happening in the story.

Nothing Special tells the story of a young man who enters high school, having no friends and no idea what to expect. He can't wait for the summer break so he can be back home and go back to his regular life. When he arrives at school, he realizes that his teacher is actually there to take him on an adventure that completely changes his life.

Nothing Special is the story of a woman, Harper, who is returning to her hometown for Christmas after a 5-year hiatus. Big changes have come over the years - Harper's family and best friend are gone, an old acquaintance has become one of her biggest enemies and she's rekindled a forbidden romance with her high school ex-boyfriend. There was plenty of intrigue in this book that kept me turning the pages until the end.

"Nothing Special" is a short story about a guy who gets on his bike and leaves his family behind. The guy travels around the world, stopping in places like Paris, China and New York. He also meets some people along the way, but always manages to find himself back in front of his hotel, reflecting on what he's done.

If you want to hear a story about a boy who struggles with his schoolwork and family relationships, then this is the book for you. Aiden Snow's narration is excellent at portraying the thoughts of the main character in this novel. The audiobook download also includes an interview with the author, which is a lot of fun to listen to.
