The protagonist has always been an outcast as he was born with a rare autoimmune disease that has caused him to lack any significant muscle mass. Even though he feels like an outcast, his parents always encouraged him to dream and strive for his dreams. One day, at just twelve years old, he finally arrives at the realization that maybe he needs to change who he is and start acting like the other kids.

Sometimes, you need to get out of your comfort zone and take a chance. I took a chance on this book because I enjoyed the author's other books and because it was narrated by Derek Shoales. I loved all the characters in this story and how they each dealt with their situation in different ways. The only thing that would make this better is if Derek Shoales had read it himself instead of just narrating it.

An audiobook is a great option for anyone who wants to listen to a story. This book is perfect for grade school children and adults alike. The audiobook was professionally narrated by Derek Shoales who did an amazing job with this book. The story follows a young boy that has been bullied at school, until one day he eats too much candy and turns into a monster that scares the bullies away. He then meets an old man that teaches him about his true self that he has never seen before. It's a great story about being yourself and fighting for what you deserve.
