Making Bombs for Hitler Free Audiobook Download by Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch
At age 17, Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch becomes determined to make bombs for Hitler. She starts out by making small explosive detonators, then builds a larger one. She modifies her design so that the final score is up to 50% and the ingredients are easily found.
In Nazi Germany, Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch, a pregnant Jewish woman, is working on a radio show when the Nazis come to take her away. She manages to escape with her husband and son but is separated from her parents. She is sent to live with a family who are sympathetic but also keep their distance. As she grows older, she realises that she can't be left in the same place for long periods of time and must make sure that there is somewhere for her family to go once they are out of hiding.
Making Bombs for Hitler is a true story of Marsha's Jewish family during the Holocaust. This audiobook was something I found so fascinating because it is about how one family survived despite being surrounded by death and sorrow.
The audiobook download is 4 hours, but I listened to it in one stretch. If you think that this book will give you an insight into Hitler's character, well it might, but there is no way of knowing for sure. What we do know is that the main character of Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch is a woman who loves her family and friends. She not only has her own personal struggles with her weight, but also struggles with the impacts of war on children born to families caught amidst the earthquake and bombing in Chile
This audiobook is a fictional story about two young boys who decide to make bombs and eventually sell them to the Germans as a way of getting rich. But there are many surprises in store for them, as they find out that their plan has consequences not only for themselves but also for their families, friends, and town.
The author Marsha Forchuk Skrypuch tells the story of a young woman, who along with her sister and mother, immigrated from Polish Russia to Canada. Her family eventually settled in Winnipeg. When her father's paper mill closed down in 1913, she was one of the many who went out looking for work. While working as a seamstress in a factory that manufactured war munitions during World War I, she accidentally learned how to make bombs for Hitler. As time passed by, her ability to build bombs became second nature and she continued to help out with building and creating bombs for other countries too.
