When he is startled by an unexpected vision of his own death, he flees only to find himself on the run from powerful forces that want him dead. He finds refuge with a group of people living in hiding in a tiny village where they have many secrets.

The release of Luck in the Shadows coincides with the re-release of the book's first two all-new drafts, which includes new features and bonus content.

The book is a light read and you can get through it in a couple of hours. It was interesting to see how the characters react when they defeat their enemies and win their hearts. All in all, it's an entertaining read but nothing certain.
