Kiss of the Highlander by Karen Marie Moning is narrated by Phil Gigante. "Phil Gigante" is a man in his mid-thirties who's been professionally reading audiobooks for ten years. He has done voice work for "Mystery Science Theater 3000," Disney, and Pixar films, among other companies.

I am a huge fan of audiobooks. I love listening to stories at the gym, in the car, or even when I'm doing chores around the house. Kiss of the Highlander is a great book that you can listen to in its entirety on Audible. This audiobook is narrated by Phil Gigante and he does an amazing job voicing each character flawlessly. The story starts out with Kata and Reichen fighting for control over their shared body until they find the perfect balance to inhabit it together and fight Dark Fae (the enemies of their race).

When I was a teenager and the first time I heard this book, I thought it was going to be an ordinary romance novel. Boy meets girl, they fall in love and live happily ever after, but what I didn't know back then is that there's a lot more to this book than meets the eye. There are interesting characters with rich, complex personalities that you get to know as the story progresses and there's a variety of different twists that keeps you guessing all the way until the last page.

This is the story of MacKenzie "Kiss" O'Rourke, a modern day woman who finds herself on the wrong side of time. Kismet, her cat, has gotten her through many hardships in her life when times were tough. Now she must partner with an immortal Highlander who promises he will help her get back to the present.
