Grace Conlin is doing an excellent job narrating this story. Her voice is rich and mellifluous, perfect for the age of this protagonist. I was happy to hear that there was a narrator by the name of Grace Conlin, since I am a huge fan of her work.

The main antagonist of the book was Johnathan Towne, who wanted to use Johnny Tremain's intelligence and abilities to make a boat that could navigate through Boston Harbor. Johnny eventually goes on to become an apprentice textiles weaver and helps overthrow Towne and his tyrannical government.

His responsibilities included painting, making plaster models, and anything else that came up in his work as he learned about his trade. One day, Johnny was caught by British soldiers and taken away from his home with no explanation. All he knew was that his family had left Boston to avoid paying taxes on their business.

Johnny Tremain draws its readers in from the very beginning. The novel has a very interesting story with a twist of suspense towards the end that leaves you guessing on who to trust. There is also a moral lesson that can be taken away from this novel, which is one of the reasons why it is such an amazing read.
