It's also a good read for all of those who love adrenaline-pumping action, intriguing characters, and brave quests. The author has done a wonderful job at giving life to her characters and giving them all their own personalities.

When he learns more about the Island of Legends, he becomes obsessed with finding it to reinvent himself as its king. Unfortunately, no one knows where it is and getting there will be difficult to say the least because the island lies in troubled waters.

Island of Legends Audiobook by Lisa McMann is a beautifully written story about fourteen year old Alina who becomes stranded on an Island with no contact to the outside world for months. The author does a great job making this story interesting, engaging, and turning it into a page turner. Audible is also doing a good job narrating this audiobook because Steve West does a wonderful job bringing the book to life with unique voices and excellent pacing.

I found this book on Audible for $9.99 and I knew it was a steal so I bought it immediately. It's a great quick read with action, mystery, horror, and romance all mixed into one.

The tone of the story is dark and gritty but there are some lighter moments in the book. It starts out with a boy named Xander's family being killed by a group of people who want to take their land, they're in an endless struggle to survive as they try to rebuild their life on the island where they were taken from.
