Iron Dragon Free Audiobook Download by D.K. Holmberg
In Iron Dragon, a young man must navigate the twists and turns of his life in an attempt to save his escaped slave from certain death. A study in fear and productivity, the story is told in a way that will keep you on the edge of your seat throughout.
At the age of forty, D.K. Holmberg had plenty of regrets in his life. He had served as a soldier for twenty-five years, most of which was spent overseas during wartime and many were filled with guilt and depression for being away from his family so much. The only thing he ever wanted to do was be a father to his two young daughters. But when a routine visit to the VA left him questioning everything he believed in, life looked like it would change forever. And then he hit rock bottom. How could one man survive this hell?
In Iron Dragon, the listener follows a dragon-shifter as she embarks on her journey to find her place among the other shifters in her world. Her story begins by describing a fight between the dragon of fire and water that is held every year. The dragon-shifter is drawn into the fight when one of the combatants attacks and kills her husband. She then finds herself invited to join in trading blows with another dragon-shifter just before their match begins.
Iron Dragon narrated by Matt Godfrey is a book that has been written in third person with a main character, Matt Godfrey. The story starts off rather slowly and the readers might not enjoy it as much as some of the other books that have been written. As the story progresses, however, the reader will find themselves being drawn into the world of Iron Dragon and finding out what happens from this point on.
This is the first-ever audiobook for D.K. Holmberg's best-selling Iron Dragon series. The Iron Dragon series sees a former fighter pilot turned mercenary caught up in the Russian Civil War who, with his partner, must travel to Russia to help stop a dictator thanks to an old friend and CIA agent who offers them a mission that is too tempting to refuse.
