Into the Serpent's Lair is a historical fiction novel that takes place during the course of one night in 1875. It details the adventures of a group of travelers who stumble into a mysterious cave, and uncover a horrifying serial killer's plot to cover up his crimes. The story is told from the perspective of twelve-year-old John Thruxton, and was inspired by true events which took place in 1839 where an escaped convict named William Hare lured five people into his home, then poisoned them before turning himself in to authorities.

Next month, the book is set to be released in audiobook format; narrated by Jefferey Kafer. The audiobook will be available through Amazon as a digital download and on CD.

Based on a true story, it tells the story of two travelers that are caught in the wrong place at the wrong time, and must journey across Afghanistan. The book contains many different identities, which makes it an interesting read. It is narrated by 'Jeffrey Kafer,' who does a great job adding to the suspenseful and intriguing tone of this tale

Together with his partner and mentor, Lewis Hargood, they solve crimes by looking at clues nobody else has seen. The year before his first case, Jackson died and when he wakes up as a ghost he learns that his life wasn't as great as it seemed to be.
