Inkspell Free Audiobook Download by Cornelia Funke
Inkspell is a novel set in the fantasy world of Inkheart. It revolves around the adventures of a young girl, Mo, and her father, Dustfinger, a con artist who can read stories out of books for which he pays people with gold coins. The book was published in 2008 to much acclaim and is as entertaining as it is heart-wrenching.
The story is about a young girl who was born with the power to control water and ink. When she accidently burns her house down, she sets out on an adventure that leads her through many people, who all have different abilities.
Eliza's family has always been known for their magical abilities. Eliza and her brother, Jakob, have learned to control the powers that both of them happen to possess. But when Eliza turns 16, they find out that a new power has been revealed: the ability to manipulate ink. As soon as they realize this new gift, the two decide to use it towards a plan that will change their lives forever: now committed to little more than petty crime, they will turn their talents into magic and create a living spellbook.
Inkspell, an amazing story. I loved it and would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy books that are a bit different than the norm. It's not your average fairy tale re-telling of Cinderella or Snow White!
Avery Prescott's life is divided into two parts. There's the mundane part with school, chores, and homework and then there's the crazy part where she's an Inkmaker and finds out that Inkworld - the world where all stories come from - is being taken from her by a villain named Deacon Gray who wants to be the only one who can tell stories.
Inkspell, the first book in the Inkheart trilogy, was written by Cornelia Funke, who is best known for her other popular novels and series. This story is about a boy named Mo (pronounced like "Moose"), and his mother who both find a way to escape from their ordinary life into the world of fictional stories. The two will go on an adventure starting with Inkspell and end with Inkheart, where they will have to risk everything to take back their home.
