Harvey Audiobook Download by Mary Chase

The audiobook is narrated by Jason Damron, who has previously narrated a number of children's novels.

This is a story about Harvey and Mary, two people who don't know each other but are going through similar experiences. It's also about Harvey's struggle to come to terms with his face transplant where he lost his nose, lips, and chin and replaced them with someone else's. The author does not shy away from the gross details of how difficult it can be for a person to live with a new face and accept themselves for who they are.

In the summer of 1928, a single act set off the deadliest flood in American history. A storm that began in the Gulf of Mexico stalled over Louisiana, bringing unprecedented rainfall and winds. Ninety-six people died. Thousands more were left homeless. And yet for many, the storm's aftermath was an unmeasured disaster as well.

Harvey narrated by ['Jason Damron'] is a great listen. This is not just the typical story of a bad guy wreaking havoc on the world and the good guys trying to stop them. It's more complicated than that but it doesn't really matter because there are some really good twists and turns as well.

Harvey is the story of a little boy that needs a family. His mother died in childbirth and his father, who works on a boat, is out at sea and never comes back. On his first day as an orphan, Harvey's momma takes him to church where he hears the sermon about how God will never leave you or forsake you. For years, Harvey believes this is true and grows up in an orphanage filled with love from all around him. But when he has big plans for his future, he realizes that it seems like God left him as soon as his momma did and couldn't care less about him or his future plans for himself.

This is a book about Harvey, a middle-aged man who tries to figure out what he wants in life. He embarks on a journey that takes him to New York City and his son's wedding as well as traveling around France. While on this trip, he has many ups and downs and becomes close with people he would have never met otherwise.
