This story is about a lady named Isabel and her iguana, Hank. On the day of the Iguana, Isabel takes Hank out to play in the park. She can't believe that there's a whole event celebrating it! When they get to the park, she realizes that Hank is not being very well behaved. She then decides to take him home where he is still acting up. He seems really hungry so she feeds him some raw shrimp and he settles down! They both had a great time at home playing with each other and getting some loving from their owner.

Hank also has his own adventures in this audiobook. He gets caught in a storm and sees a huge iguana on the beach. He ends up following it back to its cave, and it leads him to a whole family of iguanas!

Hank Zipzer #3: Day of the Iguana was a very good book. It was not as suspenseful as Hank Zipzer #2, but it had lots of funny scenes and adventure.
