The download of this audiobook is available for free. The narrator does an excellent job, providing a lot of emotion in his voice which really helps to move the story along.

This is a must-read for any fan of science fiction, speculative fiction, and military SF. A bio-terrorist attack on Earth triggers a virtual reality paradigm shift that leaves the entire ecosystem of Earth as we know it in shambles. The story follows protagonist Will Porter, who joins the UN enlistment program following the events at home. His opportunities to return to his family are slim but not impossible, as he would need a whiteout nucleation event that occurs zero times in one billion years.

In Halo: Broken Circle, readers are introduced to eight individuals who have been born under the same star sign and also promise to change things for the better. They are curious about their shared destiny and involved in a conspiracy that has been running for centuries.

The audiobook version of Halo: Broken Circle was narrated by Scott Brick, who is known for his work on the Harry Potter and Kingdom Hearts series.

The year is 2552. The human race has colonized the stars and the Inner Colonies of Earth are the most advanced frontiers of spacefaring humanity. But a collection of alien species threatens Earth's security. One of these aliens, known as the Flood, infects humans with its mutagenic virus, turning them into mindless Zombie-like creatures called Infectees. A team of Spartan II super soldiers is sent to eliminate the infection but they discover that humanity cannot be saved from itself.

In the near future, a new and improved Halo is being developed. The powerful AI that will run the new Halo has to be stopped before it's completed. Once in development, the AI is able to escape its constraints and wreak havoc on Earth and the stars by taking over an exoskeleton worn by soldiers.
