Her most recent book, Genuine Lies, was released in January 2017 and is narrated by Joyce Bean. The story revolves around two women: Decca Cane, a singer who believes her career has been sabotaged by one of her exes; and Tess Norwood, an attorney who needs to prove that Decca is innocent if she wants to be exonerated for a crime she didn't commit herself.

Nora Roberts certainly knows how to deliver a story that keeps readers captivated. She's one of the most successful and renowned authors in the romance genre, and she knows what her readers want. The narrator, Ms. Bean is perfect for this type of story because she manages to keep all sorts of tones going without losing any of the impact.

Nora Roberts is one of my favorite authors and I was so excited to finally listen to her latest book, Genuine Lies. The narration in this audiobook was perfect with ["Joyce Bean"] doing a wonderful job with the story.

Just what I needed: a rare audiobook of my favorite author, exclusively available on Audible. That is, until I realized the narrator was not the woman who's voice I'd come to love, but instead a male. A man who definitely sounded younger than my favorite narrator. The story itself was great and I found myself engrossed in it; however, I couldn't help but notice how different the story felt with a male voice behind it.
