Garrett Free Audiobook Download by Sawyer Bennett

[Cris and Graham] are amazing narrators, saying all the right things in the right places. Each character is distinct and developed well; they have a way of moving me and drawing me into their story. There are many twist and turns that I didn't see coming, but I loved it just the same.

Garrett is a story about a firefighter, Garrett Nichols, who goes on an emotional roller-coaster after his best friend gets killed in the line of duty. Garrett spends all of his time at the firehouse where he works. After being dragged into a fight with two men, he finds out that one of them was his best friend and the other was on parole for armed robbery. Garrett starts questioning himself after this altercation and as a result begins to fall into dark places. He finally comes back to his senses when he is saved by Carrie, who turns out to be his girlfriend before she died in the line of duty too.

If you've ever heard of the show, Castaways, you're probably familiar with the protagonist and narrator, Garrett. Although this is an audiobook, it is narrated by two different narrators. Cris Dukehart reads most of Garrett's dialogue, while Graham Halstead reads the narration of his thoughts and what's going on in his head. This is how both readers give a unique perspective on Garrett.

I've always been a fan of audiobooks, but I had never tried one narrated by an author. So when I received an email from my publisher asking if I wanted to listen to the audiobook for my new release Garrett, I was ecstatic! The narrator was Cris Dukehart and the other narrator on this book was Graham Halstead from USA Today Bestselling Author.

Garrett, a young woman in her late twenties, is working two jobs to pay off the student loan debt she acquired while attending college. She sees herself on the brink of poverty but wakes up one morning with a lump on her head and no memory of how she got there. She finds out that the lump is actually a tumor that was hidden behind her right eye all along. Garrett's tumor makes it difficult for doctors to perform tests because they cannot know what side of her brain it is on without doing invasive surgery. Garrett must rely on her wits as well as modern technology to survive, which proves to be challenging. She manages to make contact with some scientists who have been studying rare cancers and find out that there is possibly a cure for her rare cancer.

The audiobook 'Garrett' was narrated by Cris Dukehart and Graham Halstead. I enjoyed the audiobook very much. I would recommend this book to people who like a quick, easy read with a touch of suspense.
