Cassandra Morris narrates this heartwarming story about eleven strangers who meet in a diner on the night before Thanksgiving. When they discover that all of them are going to the same place, they decide to all go together. They have various ups and downs throughout their adventures but eventually they become friends and help each other out along the way.

One of the best parts of the 'Before' series is getting to spend time with your favourite friends and figuring out how they are doing. Luckily, in this eighth book, we get to do just that!

11 Before 12 is the story of a girl who moves to a new town and, in her attempt to make friends, creates a list of all the friends she has made. The narrator of the story is an unnamed friend who talks about all the things that happened in the past during various points of time on the list. She shares stories with Jane's sister from when they were children, with their father from when he was young, and with her mother after he died. All these stories are interconnected and are told to each other in conversation throughout 11 Before 12. Cassandra Morris narrates this audiobook download beautifully and I found it very enjoyable to listen to.
