Dork Diaries 2: Tales from a Not-So-Popular Party Girl Free Audiobook Download by Rachel Renée Russell
'Lana Quintal' is the voice of an outcast who wishes to fit in by any means necessary. With party games, gossip and drama, this is the perfect read for anyone looking for a light-hearted summer novel.
First off, I would like to say that this was a really hard book to read. Not because it is bad, but because it made me feel so sad for Madison at the beginning of the book. As soon as she arrived home from her party, her parents were gone and she had no place to sleep...it's heartbreaking.
Lana Quintal is the author of an amazing novel with a fantastic narrator. She tells the story of an average girl named Ashley who wants to fit in somewhere. Her life isn't going as well as she would like, so her best friend forces her to start wearing glasses and doing all the nerdy things that Ashley would never dream of doing on her own. The best part about this book is that it's told by a cool-headed narrator rather than Ashley herself.
When her life seems to be spiraling out of control, 16-year-old Lacey just wants to escape for a night. But when she attends the party at the top of her school's tower, everything goes wrong. The school bully is there, and Lacey is forced to talk to him and work it out. She realizes that no matter how much she hates him, he still matters.
Tales from a Not-So-Popular Party Girl is the second book in a series of stories written by Rachel Renée Russell. The protagonist is named 'Lana Quintal' and it's her story about senior year of high school. It's about how she deals with not being popular and the trials and tribulations that come along with that type of lifestyle.
