Terry Goodkind is a prolific writer with numerous books to his name. His latest work, Confessor, was released in late 2016 and takes place in the world of Midkemia and the Royal Family of D'Hara with darker themes than Goodkind's other works. It features a protagonist who is tricked into believing he has been assigned to assassinate the current King of D'Hara, but soon finds out that the King is an enlightened being, who has sent him on a mission to free others from the corruption that plagues their lives.

Sam Tsoutsouvas has narrated some of the best audiobooks out there. His narration for Terry Goodkind's "Confessor" is no exception. Sam does a great job, and you will fall in love with his voice.

The best audiobooks offer the listener a chance to 'see' the story unfold. The narrator has to do this through carefully chosen words and tone, allowing the listener to know what's going on without having to read it. Of course, some books have horrendous narrators but there are always exceptions -- in this case, Sam Tsoutsouvas does a great job of bringing the characters and setting to life.

Confessor is the first book in the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. In this novel, the protagonist Richard Cypher is a suspected murderer and has his life turned upside down when he finds himself traveling with an entity who knows intimate details about his past.
