In much the same way that Colter's Legacy, Book One, set me up to expect an explosive love story with a lot of heartbreak, I also knew this story would be a whirlwind read and not one to be taken lightly. That was true but I was not expecting a book that is so far beyond anything I might have ever dreamed of in terms of character development and depth.

The second book in the Colters' Legacy series by Maya Banks follows the story of Dani and Colt. Dani, who has always been in love with Colt, finds herself on the run from a group that is out to destroy his legacy. This shows us how much she loves him, but also how much he loves her.

"I want you to know that Colter didn't die in the storm, Carrie. He never left me." I'm listening to the audiobook for my favorite Maya Banks book and I cried my eyes out at the end of it. It's a beautiful story of love and hope and forgiveness set against a back drop of love and tragedy.

A captivating amount of mystery, twists and turns, and romance, this book is the best! It was so exciting being in Colters' car with him again. I was happy to see that he was finally getting his life together. The audios are amazing; whoever does the audio for each book does an excellent job.
