I had always wanted to read this book but never got around to it. I'm glad I finally listened to the audiobook because it was a great story and Natalie Ross is fantastic. This is the first book in Lisa Jackson's series about a serial killer dubbed "The Chosen One."

Lisa Jackson is the author of this story and knows all too well what it feels like to be on the wrong side of a cult. After her family heads out for dinner, she notices that her daughter is missing. The local police are useless, so she does everything in her power to save her daughter, including escape from a cult stronghold.
