Bloodlust is a slimy, dark, thrilling and unnerving horror story set in the UK. I know it sounds like that's not a thing at all, but you'd be surprised how often the truth can be surprising.

I don't know if it was the fact that I'd been stuck in bed for the past two weeks, or because the day was just dragging on, but I needed to get up and do something. So I started reading a book. A book about vampires.

'Saskia Maarleveld' does not disappoint as she narrates this dark and emotional audiobook. The story is about a girl called 'Morgan' who is kidnapped by her half-brother, 'Sam'. He has taken her to an isolated cabin where he threatens to kill her.

Bloodlust's audiobook is narrated by Saskia Maarleveld, a British actor and voice over artist. I was really pleased to find out that the narrator for this novel, which was originally written in Dutch, is British. It made it extra special when I found out that the author of Bloodlust had chosen Saskia as the voice over artist because they felt that she gave a sense of authenticity to Helens' thoughts.
