"Blind Fall" is a scifi romance that has a unique take on mateships. The first mate of the spaceship, Kalaya, is an alien and what makes this story a unique one is that her mate (human) and ship are also in danger of disintegrating because they were damaged while saving her life.

This story is about a woman who has been living her life like she does not have a past, but she does. She is hiding from herself and society, because of the past that she can't escape from. One day she wakes up and goes outside to get some air only to find that the world has changed. She sees a handsome man down by the shore and decides to talk to him. After talking for hours, they end up going together on an adventure across the new planet that they are both stranded on.

Blind Fall is a novella in the Mate series. It tells the story of an alien who rescues a human woman from the forest, taking her back to his home planet. They are not alone on their journey and must fight for their lives against other aliens as well as humans who have been infected with a deadly virus. There are also plenty of love scenes between different couples that help add some humor to the story.
