The audiobook download for Betwixt is narrated by Traci Odom. She does a great job of narrating the story in my opinion. One thing I would change about the audio is that I would have liked to see more detail in her character's facial expressions throughout the story.

Betwixt by Darynda Jones is one of the most suspenseful and intense reads I've ever done in my life. It is the first installment in the New Adult Paranormal Romance series called The Charley Davidson Series. The narrator for Betwixt was Traci Odom, and she did a fabulous job telling this story that felt like it popped right off the screen. This book is not just so much about murder and mystery - it's also about love. It's about what people have to go through before they find out what love really means.

It is a story of vampires, werewolves, witches and more who live in a small town in the South. Lisa is torn between her love for her longtime boyfriend, Doyle, and her new friend, Darian. The town is no stranger to paranormal activity but when strange things start happening at the cemetery nobody knows what's going on.

The story follows the path of Ginnie, a girl who has been dead for over three hundred years. She wakes up in modern day America after being found by a teenage boy who washes her in the shower. Ginnie's goal is to open the portal and find her way back home to where she belongs. She arrives in L.A at a high school and starts noticing some strange things about the students and faculty of Betwixt High School.
