Being Nikki Free Audiobook Download by Meg Cabot

When Stina Nielsen took on the role of a down-on-her-luck, pregnant, single mother in her audiobook narration of Being Nikki by Meg Cabot, she not only rekindled her acting career but also found a new calling.

"Being Nikki" is the sequel to "The Princess Diaries," but it's not really a sequel. You do get glimpses of Mia Thermopolis in this book, but it's mainly following the life of Nikki Howard, who shares many similarities with her famous counterpart.

This is a romance novel that is focused around the female protagonist, Nikki. It follows her as she navigates her way through school and life. The book's narrator is Stina Nielsen who has done an amazing job at reading the story with such warmth and conviction. As far as the pacing of the book goes, it never drags or becomes boring.

Nikki is happily married with a beautiful daughter, but when her husband's career takes them out of their home country, she decides to quit her job and take a sabbatical in Paris. When she gets to Paris, things don't go quite as well as she hoped they would. Nikki starts feeling lost and unappreciated in Paris where people are more interested in their own work than the work of others. The narrative jumps around from present day to past events that ultimately lead up to the events of the book.

Being Nikki is a story about a teen who is given the opportunity to go back in time and change her life. She gets to choose who she will be in a time before any of the horrible events that happened such as her parents dying and her father leaving.
