"An Arranged Marriage" is the first book in an historical romance series by Jo Beverley. I have always enjoyed listening to audio books, so I decided to try this one out.

This is the second book in Beverley's Regency Romance series. It's told from a first-person perspective, with the narrator as a married woman who never wanted to marry. However, she is now forced into an arranged marriage with a man she detests and isn't sure if she can live with day-to-day.

This is a humorous and bawdy read; full of laugh-out-loud moments that you might find yourself rereading for the sheer pleasure! Jo Beverley has written a truly wonderful book with an interesting storyline and excellent narration that will captivate from the first word to the last.

Though there are so many books on the market, all about the love story between two people who fall in love despite a difference in social class, none have ever been written like this one. The steamy and fascinating tale of the match made in heaven between Lady Caroline de Bourgh and Lord Robert St. Ives sounds like it should be a classic romance novel, but it is actually historical fiction.
