This is a beautiful audiobook about the lives of seven sisters growing up in a small English village. The narrator, Tuppence Middleton, does an amazing job with this book and brings it to life.

This is a historical fiction novel set in 18th century England. Two sisters, Catherine and Lucinda are born into two different households, but their lives become entwined when they marry the same man. Catherine is married to a brilliant scientist and inventor who becomes a financial success. Lucinda is married to a physician who operates on the poor. The story follows both sisters through their marriages, children, and careers as they live in London during the Industrial Revolution.

Tuppence Middleton is a voice that I always love listening to. She is the perfect narrator and has such a range of voices in her repertoire. Her smooth and calming voice makes me feel relaxed and at ease - which also means she does an exceptional job with all of the different accents and dialects.

In a quest to find her missing sister, Eve Middleton visits the remote Scottish shores of the Isle of Lewis. She's met with an untamed beauty and is challenged with a deadly task, as she must learn to navigate her way across the mist-shrouded island, in search for her sister. 'Tuppence Middleton' is one of the best narrators I have heard in a long time. Her voice is clear and easy to listen to, and she has a very strong sense of timing which makes her narration easy to follow. The Seven Sisters audiobook download from Audible is quite reasonably priced for this narrator, so it's well worth listening to if you're a fan of Lucinda Riley's books.
