The Magician's Nephew Free Audiobook Download by C.S. Lewis

In The Magician's Nephew, C.S. Lewis tells a story of two magicians and their children. One magician is a good magician and the other is a bad magician. These two magicians can create the most wonderful things with their magic but there are also some things that they cannot create--like happiness or loving relationships.

"The Magician's Nephew" is the first page in a book of Narnia stories by C.S. Lewis and it begins with the magician appearing before Aslan, pleading for his life. But he was sentenced to die for his crimes against the White Witch, who has been terrorizing the land with her crones (old hags). The witch orders her crones to take away all magic from her land, but the old woman who had given him shelter and food wouldn't give up on him until she saw that he had broken free and jumped through a window into a garden where he came across Aslan.

"I'm not an atheist," said Digory. "But I think it's wrong to say I believe in things without any reason at all."

The Magician's Nephew is a book that was published in 1938. Part of the Narnia series, it is written by C.S. Lewis and is narrated by Kenneth Branagh. This audiobook download follows the story of Digory and Polly, two children who enter the magical world of Narnia which they call "the Other World". They soon meet Aslan and experience many adventures that take them from London to the other worlds within Narnia.

The Magician's Nephew is the final book in C.S. Lewis's wonderful Narnia series, and it is an influential work of Christian apologetics. The Emperor of Narnia has fallen, and now evil threatens all four worlds: Earth, Narnia, Archenland and Telmar. Aslan sends his nephew to the children of men to live among them as a human boy named Digory Kirke and find a way to restore the reign of good over evil.

C.S. Lewis wrote this book with the intent of adding to his story of Narnia, which began with The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. Some reviewers believe that it was not up to par with his other books, but it does contain some important lessons about love and the Christian faith.
